Online or E-Business In India
Some days ago there is a discussion between me and my college friend on On-line Business In India. According to him On-line Business cannot survive in Indian environment. He state that India is a country where people want to feel product before purchasing the product. But at that time I am totally confuse that I should go in favour of my friend or against my friend. Then I decided to visit various company website and surf for practical online business application in India.
Result : After visited the many big companies website like HUL ,Nivea etc. I felt that my opinion on topic will be 40% in favour and 60% against the topic.
In simple word I am 60% agree with my friend and 40% against my friend.
Reason for being unstable in favour of topic is slow initiative of companies to promote the online or e-business in India. For example I visited the HUL ,Nivea company website but from the customer point of view if I want to place an order to the company from home without wasting my precious time
then from the website I am unable to do it.
“Why would it happen” because there is no section in the whole website of company where I can place order.
India is a developing country where growth is moving in upward direction which result in increase in per capita income and standard of living of people.
Now a days in India Internet sector is also increasing his boundary in Indian society and around 55% of people using internet at their home and offices specially youth section of society. In metro cities out of 55% at least 15% of people are suffering from the problem of busy life schedule they are bind in circle of office to home and home to office in between they don’t have time to visit any shop for purchasing product that may result in rejection of demand of product or postponed of that demand. So in this case company from which customer want to purchase product suffer loss in form of losing his premium and precious customer.
Suggestion
So in my point of view companies should follow such approach by which company can easily able to extract money from the pocket of above case customer and to reach or grasp such customer company should use e-business approach which may result in
· Create demand for the product
· Induce people to purchase the product
· Increase profitability and prestige of the company
· Provide accessibility to target each and every customer of society
· May improve or increase distribution system of company
· Direct relation establish with customer
· Mode of advertising for the company
· Work as salesmen for company
